Instructions

Inserting the Battery into the Cover

  1. Seat the bottom of the CR2032 watch battery into the small groove inside the battery pocket. Step 1
  2. Swing the top of the watch battery into the pocket so that it rests against the inner wall. Step 2
  3. The SRAM battery has a key on one side. Align this key with the rectangular cutout on the corresponding side of the battery cover. Step 3
  4. With the battery at an angle, slide the key into the cutout on the battery cover. Step 4a Step 4b
  5. Ensure the clip inside the battery cover is seated in the groove on the battery. Step 5
  6. Snap the battery into place by pressing down on the clip side, swiveling the battery until it locks. Step 6

Removing the Battery from the Cover

  1. Use one finger to gently pull back on the battery cover's clip, creating a slight flex in the cover. Do not use excessive force.
  2. Swivel the clip-side end of the battery upward. Removal
  3. Remove the watch battery by tilting the top slightly inward, then lifting it out.

What is the purpose of this cover? This cover lets you carry a spare CR2032 battery alongside the spare AXS battery you already have in your bag. CR2032 batteries are used in the AXS Eagle wireless shifter pod and other common cycling accessories like digital pressure gauges.

Is the CR2032 battery included? No, the CR2032 battery is not included.

Where does this mount on the bike? This cover is not intended to mount on the bike. It's designed to be stored in a saddle bag or other secure location while riding.
